Strengthening practice

Our Teaching school

Our teaching school supports schools in Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth to recruit, develop and retain excellent teachers and school leaders.

High-quality teaching and leadership are key drivers of sustained improvement. The Hub’s work supports schools to build confidence, refine practice and develop capacity across teams, contributing to more consistent, evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning.

Charter Trust hosts the London South Teaching School Hub, one of the Department for Education’s national hubs supporting teacher and leader development. We work with schools across South London to deliver professional development aligned with national standards and local priorities.
