Students at The Charter School North Dulwich are celebrating a phenomenal year of academic achievement, with today’s Year 13 results placing the school once again among the top performing state schools in London. These achievements are a testament to the students’ dedication, resilience and commitment to their studies over the past two years, and the school is immensely proud of each and every one of them.

Headline achievements include:

  • 78% of grades were A*–B
  • 85% of students taking vocational courses earned Merit to     Distinction* grades
  • 70% of students achieved at least one A grade or equivalent
  • 25% of students achieved an A* or A in all subjects.
  • 46% of students attained AAB or equivalent.

Destinations and next steps:
This year, 80% of university applicants in Year 13 secured places at their first-choice institutions, including:

  • Eight students gaining places at the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge
  • Three students beginning medical degrees from our current Year 13, along with one further medic from our 2024 cohort.
  • Seven students accepted onto highly competitive Art Foundation courses.
  • Three students embarking on Degree Level Apprenticeships

70% of university-bound students will attend prestigious Russell Group or 1994 Group universities.

Vocational excellence:
BTEC students also shone brightly.

·       75% of Sports BTEC students achieved a Distinction or Merit

·       100% of Business BTEC students achieved a Distinction or Merit

Headteacher, Mark Pain shared his pride:

“We are absolutely thrilled with the achievements of our Year 13 students. These results reflect their incredible hard work, determination and ambition. They have shown what is possible and we couldn’t be prouder.”

He also praised the Sixth Form Team:

“This success is also thanks to our dedicated staff – especially Mrs Dougall, Ms Lucas, Ms Myers and Mr Gellett, and the wider sixth form team – whose commitment and care have been invaluable.”

As these talented young people take their next steps – whether into university, apprenticeships, or creative pathways – we celebrate their success and wish them every happiness and fulfilment in the future.
