The Charter Conference is taking place on Monday, 1st July 2024 at The Charter School North Dulwich.

The Conference Programme will be published on Thursday 9th May and registrations open on 16th May. All members of staff will be emailed a link to the form which they should use to confirm attendance, select sessions and inform us of any dietary requirements. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If a session is already full, staff will be prompted to select another. Registrations will close on Monday 3rd June.

Registration starts from 8am and sessions run from 9am until 3:20pm. A new feature for this year is the Plenary session from 3:30-4pm, when staff will meet in school teams to share their learning from the day, and consider how this can be applied in their settings.

The timetable is as follows:

  • 8:00-8:30am Arrival and registration
  • 8:30-9:00am Refreshments and networking
  • 9:00-9:10am Welcome One
  • 9:10-10:00am Keynote One
  • 10:00-10:20am Break
  • 10:20-10:30am Welcome Two
  • 10:30-11:20am Keynote Two
  • 11:30-12:20pm Session Three: choice of workshops
  • 12:20-1:30pm Lunch
  • 1:30-2:20pm Session Four: choice of workshops
  • 2:30-3:20pm Session Five: choice of workshops
  • 3:30-4:00pm Meet in school teams to reflect, take feedback and plan next steps
  • 4:00-5:00pm End of day social

Our Trust has grown to the point where we can no longer comfortably fit all staff into one room. This year, therefore, you will be put into one of two groups. Group 1 will be in the Assembly Hall, and will hear first from Carlene Firmin and then from Lee Elliot Major . Group 2 will be in the Sports Hall and will hear first from Lee Elliot Major and then from Carlene Firmin.

We’re keen to improve the lunch offer this year, and for that we need your help. Please sign up asap so that we know exactly how many people we are catering for. This year we will be offering a hot, vegetarian meal. With nearly 600 members of staff to feed, we are unable to offer alternatives, unless you have an allergy or medical need. If you would prefer something else, please therefore bring your own. Lunchtime will be staggered so please look out for your designated time slot.
